Making science visible: Using LinkedIn for networking, career development and visibility LinkedIn is becoming increasingly important in science communication – for communicating scientific results and studies, for networking and as a career planning tool. The presentation will show how researchers, especially younger ones, can use LinkedIn. In addition to the basic functions of the platform, practical questions will be addressed: What content is suitable for posts? What should a post look like? What contributes to scientific visibility without compromising scientific integrity or ongoing processes? The aim is to provide participants with concrete guidelines for a professional and effective presence on LinkedIn – tailored to the specifics of scientific communication.
