MVUB Award

The Intermediate Staff Association of the University of Bern (MVUB) is launching the MVUB Award.

With this award, presented annually in December, the MVUB aims to honour individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to the intermediate staff. The award is presented to individuals who have distinguished themselves through their work, commitment, or exceptional contributions to the intermediate staff at the University of Bern. It comes with a cash prize of CHF 200.

We invite all members of the intermediate staff to nominate individuals who have championed intermediate staff interests – regardless of whether they are employed by the University of Bern. Nominees do not need to be members of the intermediate staff themselves. Nominations can be submitted for individuals or teams who have shown dedication to the intermediate staff community — regardless of whether they are employed by the University of Bern or not (up to 4 people).

How the nomination works: Submit your suggestion using the online form, along with a brief explanation of why the person or group you are nominating deserves this award.

• The deadline for nominations is 27 November 2026. 

The MVUB Board will make the final decision on the recipients. The winners will be announced on our website, on social media, and in the newsletter.
