Chair
In November, Felix Kraft was elected as the new Co-President of the MVUB, succeeding PD Dr. Sandra Lösch. We are very much looking forward to working with Felix and are confident that together we will continue to represent the interests of the mid-level academic staff at the University of Bern with commitment and dedication.

Over the past two years, actionuni, the umbrella organisation for intermediate academic staff in Switzerland, has been working on a survey on the topics of mental health and the working environment of intermediate academic staff. The results, the Swiss-Wide Mental Health Survey (SWiMS), have now been published. Here you can find the summary and statement from the MVUB.
1,000 club members
Since 1994, we have been advocating for the interests of PhD students, postdocs, research staff, assistants, and faculty as the Intermediate Staff Association at the University of Bern – and now our community is over 1000 members strong. Funding
MVUB members who are actively involved in the intermediate staff, for example as delegates in commissions or on MVUB committees, can apply for cost sharing for support tasks if required.
