A central concern of the MVUB is to strengthen dialogue and cooperation within the intermediate staff. This is why we regularly organise events that offer space for encounters, discussions and networking. Whether it's thematic inputs, information events or informal networking events: our programmes are aimed at all members of the intermediate staff and enable you to get to know people from different disciplines, exchange experiences and expand your professional network.
MVUB on Tour
With MVUB on Tour, we bring the intermediate staff association directly to the various locations of the University of Bern. In the form of an informal coffee break with fresh croissants, we create the opportunity to talk to each other in a relaxed atmosphere.
The event offers you the opportunity to exchange ideas with other members of the intermediate staff, ask questions and find out more about the work of the MVUB. Members of the Executive Board and the office will also be on hand to answer any questions, make suggestions or simply have a quick chat.
MVUB-Lunchtalk
With our MVUB Lunchtalks, we offer a platform for knowledge transfer, inspiration and networking in a compact form. Members of the University of Bern give short keynote speeches on current topics or topics relevant to the intermediate staff. Be it from research, university policy, science or everyday university life.
Following the presentation, we invite you to a small snack, which offers space for informal discussions and interdisciplinary exchange. The lunch talks are a good opportunity to get to know new perspectives, discuss questions and expand your personal network within the intermediate staff.
